About Mathias Huque

I'm a Software Engineer and final-year Systems Engineering student at Universidad ORT Uruguay, where I also teach Computer Science fundamentals and Data Structures & Algorithms. I focus on building reliable, well-structured systems across the stack, from architecture to implementation.

Teaching sharpens the way I engineer: explaining algorithms and abstractions clearly, and designing exercises that hold up under scrutiny, both push me toward code that is predictable, testable, and built to last. I approach engineering pragmatically, balancing technical depth with real-world constraints to ship solutions that are efficient, scalable, and maintainable.

An end-to-end platform for managing bids and opportunities — bringing case files, go/no-go decisions, credentials, tasks, documents, and analytics into one traceable workflow.

Developed as my Systems Engineering capstone with SONDA Uruguay, SILO is a Dockerized monorepo with a Next.js frontend, NestJS backend and AI worker, OCR, full-text search, S3-compatible document storage, asynchronous messaging, and self-hosted observability.
